Hello Mobility Aid Users,

My name is Shane Bratby a wheelchair and Mobility Aid user like you.

I founded Mobility Buy in 2008 on a market stall because I was seeing the outrageous prices Mobility dealers sold their Mobility products for, so I set my mind up to change this. I first opened a market stall to test the water.

"It was a huge success!"

Because I was outside in the cold and rain as well as due to my disability/disorder that gets worse over time (Friedreich's ataxia) It kept making me ill. I came to the conclusion that if I was going to continue I must work indoors in the warmth. So I found my shop situated near where I lived.

"The idea was perfect"

I came up with the idea to offer everything regarding disability under one roof. ex Disability Law, Wheelchair Access, and Disabled Rights, even Disability Benefit advice to our customers, We certainly made a few press releases.

"This model worked"

However, in 2010 near Christmas around 6 pm, I got mugged and had petrol poured over me threatening to light me with a lighter wafting about in front of me!, The full story can be read on BBC here: www.bbc.co.uk/news

"Worst ordeal of my life"

I felt very unsafe in my shop and I always had the front door unlocked, and went into a state of depression this was not good for my customers'

"It seemed like everything was against me"

As the police never caught the robbers, So I was constantly on edge. I could not continue my work like this anymore.

"I closed my beloved shop Mobility Buy"

Went on to start an online business Disabled Entrepreneurs www.disabledentrepreneurs.co.uk and 6 other helpful companies. but my heart-touching company www.raward,co.uk inefficiently my favourite.
